If you ask us to quote, we want to get to know you. After an initial meeting, our new client survey will seek to find out exactly how and why you do business. We don’t generalise or assume – instead we strive to understand your individual processes, objectives and assets. So we can be an asset to you. We will assess your existing insurance programme and claims experience and, if appropriate, Cowens Risk Solutions will evaluate risks and liabilities, as an underwriter would.
Based on the information gathered and our breadth of experience, our specialist Broking Unit will survey and source underwriters to fulfil your specific client needs. Our close relationships with underwriting partners ensure total quality control and consistency of approach, proposing partnerships that are about efficiency not bias.
Whilst favourable premiums are part of the package, the extent of cover, liability and future security are fundamental. We will present a report offering general advice and specific critique of your existing cover, highlighting any potential areas of under-insurance, along with a quotation for the current programme and for the cost of improving it.
Should we have the pleasure of winning your business you will receive confirmation and statutory certificates and will be allocated a dedicated handling team to consult on a day-to day basis and in the event of a claim. We will check and amend policy documents and schedules and supply an Insurance Risk Register detailing your provision and service contact team.
